Shoals Technologies Group, headquartered in Tennessee, has filed a patent infringement complaint with the US International Trade Commission (ITC) against Voltage LLC and a foreign entity. The case involves newly issued patents (‘375 and ‘376) related to its Big Lead Assembly (BLA) solutions, designed to address potential design workarounds to its earlier ‘153 Patent. The ‘153 Patent is also under ITC review, with a final decision anticipated by January 15, 2025. The company seeks to block the importation of infringing products and emphasizes the importance of protecting its intellectual property to uphold domestic manufacturing and maintain industry standards.
