China-based Seraphim has recently announced the construction of its 776 MW solar PV project portfolio in Yunnan Province, SW China. The project includes six sub-projects spread across Chuxiong, Lincang, Qujing, and Guangnan. Seraphim reports that two of these sub-projects are complete, while four are under active development. As per Seraphim, the entire project is expected to generate 1.3 TWh of green electricity annually. The company is deploying its Seco 182mm bifacial modules, featuring multi-busbar, high-density encapsulation, and half-cell technologies. This ensures a conversion efficiency of over 21.3% and up to a 30% power gain from the rear side. In May, Seraphim launched a new 1GW production facility in Guangnan County to boost local PV production.
