SECI awards Sembcorp 150 MW wind-solar hybrid project in India

Singapore-Headquartered Sembcorp Industries, through its subsidiary Sembcorp Green Infra Private Limited, has secured a 150 MW wind-solar hybrid power project by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The project, part of SECI’s 600 MW bid, will be built, owned, and operated by Sembcorp and connected to the Inter State Transmission System. The project is expected to begin commercial operations within 24 months, supplying power to SECI under a 25-year PPA. Sembcorp will fund the project through internal resources and debt.
