Singapore-Headquartered Sembcorp Industries, through its subsidiary Sembcorp Green Infra Private Limited, has secured a 150MW wind-solar hybrid power project by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The project, part of SECI’s 600MW bid, will be built, owned, and operated by Sembcorp and connected to the Inter State Transmission System. The project is expected to begin commercial operations within24 months, supplying power to SECI under a 25-year PPA. Sembcorp will fund the project through internal resources and debt.
