The Schletter Group, a global manufacturer of solar mounting systems, has secured the contract for Baden-Württemberg’s largest solar project at Langenenslingen, according to the company. Schletter’s FS Duo, a twin-post system in high-strength steel, was selected for its 30-year durability, featuring rammed, galvanized steel foundations for stability and cost efficiency. Managed by Conecon, the 80 MWp project aims to power 30,000 households by 2025. EnBW plans to operationalize the park by mid-2025, projecting an annual output of 80 million kWh and saving 54,000 tons of CO₂ annually. The project includes sustainable land use with sheep grazing around 146,000 solar modules. Schletter’s collaboration with EnBW includes previous successful projects in Brandenburg, totaling 300 MWp, and a new 62 MWp plant in Gundelsheim, starting in May 2024.
