Midsummer AB and Saab AB signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore potential collaboration in Thailand’s solar energy sector. The focus includes the potential development of a 200 MW thin film solar cell production facility, leveraging Midsummer’s technology. Midsummer would handle the factory’s design, supply production equipment, and hold partial ownership of the Thai production company. This partnership aligns with Thailand’s industrial cooperation policies and aims to identify opportunities for solar energy applications both domestically and for export. The project details, including timelines, will be determined through discussions with relevant Thai authorities.
