Germany-based RWE known to be a key player in the Polish renewables market, was awarded 31 solar projects by Urząd Regulacji Energetyki (URE) in Poland. The projects have a total capacity of 102 MW (DC), equivalent to 84 MW (AC). Most of the projects have received permits. Construction is planned to begin in early 2025. These projects add to RWE’s solar capacity in Poland, where it operates 91 MW (AC) of installed capacity. Over 100 MW (AC) of additional solar projects are currently under construction.
