RWE signs long-term solar PPAs with Meta

RWE, the third largest renewable energy company in the U.S., has signed two long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Meta for energy from two solar farms currently under construction. These projects include the 274 MWac County Run Solar in Illinois and the 100 MWac Lafitte Solar in Louisiana, both expected to be operational by late 2025. This partnership supports Meta’s commitment to powering its operations with 100% renewable energy and aligns with RWE’s strategy to expand its U.S. renewables portfolio.
