Global photovoltaic technology company Runergy has started production at its new solar module manufacturing facility in Huntsville, Alabama, as part of its expansion into the North American market. The facility has a production capacity of 2 GW annually and will manufacture high-efficiency n-type solar modules to support the increasing demand for renewable energy in the US. Through this plant, the company’s first in the US, Runergy aims to strengthen its local supply chain, reduce lead times, and minimize reliance on overseas suppliers. The site is set to deliver its first orders in October.
