India-based RRP Semiconductor has secured an INR 440 crore (~$52.18 million) order from Pune-based Telecrown Infratech to supply silicon solar cells, melted silicon crystals, and polycrystalline materials. These components will support the installation of 106 MW of solar power PV modules across various locations in Maharashtra, aligning with India’s renewable energy goals. This order also allows RRP Semiconductor to contribute to domestic production in India’s solar materials sector, addressing some of the country's dependency on imported silicon products. Additionally, RRP is expanding its portfolio in the semiconductor sector, with offers that include OSAT, Chip on Glass, NAND Flash, and memory modules.
