Solar recycling initiative announced by RNWBL

RNWBL, a Texas-based energy services provider, has partnered with SOLARCYCLE, a US-based solar recycling firm, to advance its sustainability goals. According to RNWBL, this collaboration aims to recycle over 200,000 solar panels in 2024, reducing landfill waste. RNWBL manages decommissioning of solar assets across North America, including California, Texas, and Florida, and is involved in module restoration projects in the Southwest. SOLARCYCLE, operating in Odessa, Texas, and Mesa, Arizona, plans to open a new solar glass plant in Cedartown, Georgia, in 2025. Since 2022, SOLARCYCLE has partnered with over 50 major solar companies and diverted 36 million pounds of material from landfills.
