ReNew, India’s leading renewable energy company, has signed five PPAs, adding nearly 2.2 GW of RE capacity to its fully contracted renewable energy portfolio. Additionally, ReNew received Letter of Awards for an extra nearly 5.8 GW of RE capacity. Among these, three solar PPAs totaling 800 MW were signed with NTPC Limited, Damodar Valley Corporation, and Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited, at a weighted average tariff of INR 2.59 per kWh. Another ~1 GW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (“FDRE”) PPA was inked with SJVN Limited at INR 4.39 per kWh. These agreements enhance ReNew’s counterparty profile and offer visibility for future growth. Expected to be commissioned within 24 months, these PPAs will develop 1.5 GW of solar and 688 MW of wind projects.
