Radial Power recently acquired four community solar projects located in New York, totaling 22.3 MW from Galehead Development, both US-based companies. These projects are part of the Value of Distributed Energy Resources (VDER) program, vital for New York’s sustainable energy transition. According to Radial Power, the company will manage the final development and construction stages. Galehead, which developed these projects with local communities and National Grid, will continue managing 14 MW of the portfolio through its Century LandCo. Additionally, Galehead and Radial Power have a framework agreement for an extra 18.3 MW of VDER capacity, expected to finalize by year-end.
