Sungrow, a China-based solar inverter manufacturer, has launched its latest C&I inverter range at Solar & Storage Live London. According to Sungrow, the inverters support module-level optimization through optimizer compatibility, improving energy yield under shading or mismatch conditions. The company said the units comply with NEC 2017 and 2020 standards and include module-level rapid shutdown for emergency de-energization. Each inverter is equipped with internal Type I+II DC and Type II AC SPDs, meeting BS EN 61643-11 and 61643-31 standards. As per Sungrow, the integrated SPDs eliminate the need for external devices and simplify installation. The optimizers are designed for quick setup and commissioning. Sungrow stated that the launch supports rising C&I solar demand in the UK. The Smarter E AWARD 2025 has recently named Sungrow as a finalist for its inverter technology.
