The Smarter E AWARD 2025 has named ten finalists in the PV category, with winners to be announced on May 6 at Messe München, Germany. The awards cover five categories: PV, Storage, E-Mobility, Smart Integrated Energy, and Outstanding Projects, recognizing innovation in the clean energy sector. Finalists include Aiko Energy, LONGi Solar Technology, Huasun Energy, and Sungrow Power Supply from China for high-efficiency modules and inverter technology. German firms MBJ Solutions, Sunmaxx PVT, and Weidmüller Interface were recognized for advances in simulation, hybrid modules, and protection systems, respectively. South Africa’s 7Secondsolar and Norway’s Aevy were shortlisted for digital asset management tools, and UK-based Seaward Electronic for its PV testing device. Entries reflect progress in module design, safety, testing, and system integration, underscoring the global scope of photovoltaic innovation.
