China-based Astronergy has powered the OLD-T Solar Park in Tolú, Sucre, Colombia, with 12.92 MW of its ASTRO N5 PV modules. As per Astronergy, the solar plant is expected to generate approximately 24,817 MWh of electricity annually. This output has been estimated to meet the yearly energy needs of about 13,257 households. The project was developed in partnership with Vatia to deliver clean and reliable solar energy to the region. The deployment of ASTRO N5 modules has helped reduce pressure on the national grid and supported Colombia’s ongoing energy transition. Astronergy stated that the stable performance of its modules has enhanced the overall value of the project and strengthened its reliability across the Sucre region.
