Pivot Energy and GreenSpark Solar have completed a four-project solar portfolio in Upstate New York, incorporating agrivoltaics. The 22 MWdc capacity projects support New York’s goal of 70% renewable energy by 2030 and a zero-emission grid by 2040. Supported by NYSERDA’s NY-Sun Program, the projects went operational this spring in the Adirondack region. The collaboration ensured quality installations, local employment, and economic benefits. These projects, enrolled in the Remote Crediting program, serve commercial subscribers, farms, nursing homes, and schools, optimizing solar production with tracker systems. Additionally, sheep grazing, and native bird habitats highlight Pivot’s commitment to sustainability.
