US-based Original Clean Energy (OCE), a subsidiary of Clean Royalties, has acquired Vermont-based iSun along with its affiliates, SunCommon and Liberty Electric. According to Original Clean Energy, this acquisition, along with the leadership changes in parallel, is part of its strategy to invest in companies that can benefit from a shared services model. CEO Jeff Wolfe will oversee the company’s growth with support from an experienced team. Kip Myrick, a long-time iSun executive, becomes president of iSun, while James Moore remains president of SunCommon. Liberty Electric will be led by Brad Spelbring, and founder Jack Comeau will serve as senior advisor. COO Mark Yates, with over six years of restructuring experience, joins from OCE. OCE will rebrand iSun as Legacy Power and focus on expanding in Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and New York.
