OHLA lands 200 MW PV plant contract in Spain

OHLA, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, has secured a significant contract for the construction, commissioning, and operation of a new photovoltaic plant in Murcia, Spain. With an investment exceeding 70 million, the plant will boast a total installed capacity of 200 MW. The Murcia plant is expected to generate over 400,000 MWh/year of clean energy, catering to the needs of approximately 40,000 households while mitigating the emission of 350,000 tons of CO2 annually. The project will create around 500 jobs during the construction phase. OHLA’s extensive portfolio now encompasses more than 30 renewable energy projects worldwide, totaling 2,500 MW of installed capacity, with Spain alone accounting for nearly 2,000 MW.
