In Connecticut, Oakridge Dairy, the largest dairy farm in the Northeast U.S., has integrated solar energy into its sustainable farming methods. With 752 solar panels installed on an 8-acre barn, the farm can generate up to 1,200 kW hours of energy each day. Earthlight Technologies was responsible for designing and installing the system, incorporating high-efficiency panels from Maxeon Solar Technologies, Ltd. Maxeon’s solar panels are known for their performance and longevity, with a noteworthy 40-year warranty, contributing significantly to reducing carbon emissions and promoting cleaner energy generation.
