NTPC & RVUNL JV aims for 25 GW RE projects

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) and Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) have entered into a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) to advance solar and green energy projects in India. As part of this initiative, 160 MW of the total 320 MW solar power project at Bhainsara, Rajasthan, was inaugurated and dedicated to the nation by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. The JV plans to develop 25 GW of renewable energy projects and produce 1 million metric tons per annum (MMTPA) of green hydrogen and its derivatives, further supporting India’s green energy transition.
