India-headquartered NTPC Renewable Energy Limited launched an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for hybrid wind-solar projects. The initiative aimed to generate 1200 MW of power, with an option for an additional 600 MW.The bidding is open to domestic and international companies, with submissions due by December 2, 2024. The projects will operate on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis, contributing to India's renewable energy goals.
