NOFAR partners with LONGi to deploy Hi-MO 9 modules.China-based LONGi Solar, a global producer of photovoltaic modules, has extended its partnership with Israeli energy investor NOFAR to supply modules for European solar projects, increasing their total cooperation to over 1 GW. Since 2023, the companies have collaborated on utility-scale projects totaling 600 MW. The extended agreement, managed by NOFAR’s Romanian office, includes LONGi’s Hi-MO 7 modules, featuring up to 22.6% efficiency and an 80% bifacial ratio. NOFAR also plans to adopt the Hi-MO 9 modules, which offer up to 24.4% efficiency and perform well under uneven irradiation conditions, for future projects. LONGi has also implemented measures to reduce production and delivery cycles by 84% and energy use per unit by 20%, while advancing ESG compliance and sustainability goals, including carbon neutrality targets.
