Nextracker acquires Ojjo to expand utility-scale solar foundations

Nextracker has acquired Ojjo, a renewable energy company specializing in solar power foundation technology, for approximately $119 million. This acquisition allows Nextracker to offer more integrated solutions for solar power plant developers, particularly in areas with challenging soil conditions. It broadens Nextracker’s market opportunities and enhances its foundation capabilities, adding to its patent portfolio, which now exceeds 600 patents. Nextracker is a provider of solar tracker and software solutions, with operations in forty countries. This acquisition is expected to improve project design, streamline procurement, and reduce risks for utility-scale solar market customers.
