Australia-based Neoen has signed a 4-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with SmartestEnergy to source 50% of the energy output from its 440 MWp Culcairn Solar Farm in New South Wales(NSW), Australia. The solar farm is expected to be operational by 2026 which is currently under construction and will generate enough clean energy to power 160,000 homes. In addition to the PPA, Neoen has secured a Long-Term Energy Services Agreement (LTESA) under the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap to ensure price stability for its energy production.
