France-based Neoen, a leading renewable energy producer, secured 164 MW of solar and agrisolar projects in France’s latest tender issued by the Energy Regulation Commission (CRE). This includes seven projects, raising Neoen’s awarded capacity in the PPE2 program to 642 MW and increasing its secured portfolio in France to over 2.5 GW. The projects will be developed in regions such as Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Commissioning is expected between 2026 and 2029. One project will extend to 2032 due to necessary grid updates. Several projects integrate agrivoltaic systems, combining solar energy generation with agricultural activities to enhance land use.
