Israel-based N2OFF Inc. has announced progress on its 111 MW solar PV project in Melz, Germany, developed by Solterra Renewable Energy Ltd. On December 31, 2024, the Melz municipal committee approved the statutory plan submission. The decision followed a review of environmental and planning implications. After the approval, the plan advanced to the hearing process. The project is expected to progress towards ready-to-build (RTB) status, by late 2025. N2OFF provided €470,000 (~$0.48 million) as an initial installment of its €2 million ($2.06 million) loan commitment for the project.
