Pine Gate signs $176M solar module deal with Waaree USA

Waaree Solar Americas has recently signed a $176 million deal to supply 586 MW of US-made modules to Pine Gate Renewables for four utility-scale solar projects.

Waaree Solar Americas, the US subsidiary of India-based PV module manufacturer Waaree Energies Ltd., has signed a $176 million supply agreement with Pine Gate Renewables. The agreement covers 586 MW of domestically produced high-efficiency modules for four utility-scale solar projects scheduled to begin commissioning in 2026. Pine Gate Renewables, which develops solar and storage infrastructure, has a 30 GW pipeline and over 2 GW of operational assets across the United States. The company has also managed more than 7 GW of third-party assets through its affiliated platform. According to Waaree Solar Americas, its Brookshire, Texas facility currently has 1.6 GW production capacity and is being expanded to 3.2 GW. Waaree Energies Ltd. stated that it had previously supplied over 6 GW of modules from India to the US market before establishing its US operations.
