US-based Waaree Solar Americas Inc., a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Ltd, has signed a 599 MW solar module supply deal with a US-based IPP, with delivery set for 2026 from Brookshire, Texas. The facility is Waaree Energies Ltd’s US manufacturing base and is being expanded with an additional 1.6 GW line, taking total US capacity to 3.2 GW by end-2025. The Brookshire plant was established to meet local content rules and enable quicker supply for utility and C&I projects. Waaree secured over 1.2 GW of new US orders in Q1 FY25–26. Rising demand from AI data centers, infrastructure upgrades, and industrial electrification are driving growth. The Brookshire expansion supports supply security and job creation through American-made modules. Recently, Waaree Solar signs 586 MW US supply deal for Texas facility.
