Tongwei & POwR CONNECT sign 150 MW solar module deal in France

POwR CONNECT and Tongwei have signed a 150 MW annual agreement in France to supply TNC-G12R modules and support distributed PV projects across regional markets.

Tongwei Co., Ltd., a solar module manufacturer based in China, has signed a 150 MW annual supply agreement with POwR CONNECT in France. POwR CONNECT is a European provider of PV and energy storage solutions, offering project design and system management services. The agreement will support distributed residential and commercial PV projects in France and nearby markets using Tongwei’s TNC-G12R 48-type modules. According to Tongwei, both companies will also explore future use of its TNC 2.0 modules, which feature 0BB, screen printing, EPT edge passivation, and Poly Tech. TÜV Rheinland and CTC have certified these modules with bifaciality exceeding 88%. POwR CONNECT said Tongwei’s product quality, supply efficiency, and service were key to the agreement. Recently, Tongwei also signed a strategic distribution deal with BayWa r.e. France for its TNC 2.0 modules.
