Tongwei & BayWa r.e. partner on PV module distribution in France

China-based solar technology company, Tongwei has recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with BayWa r.e. France, a French PV distributor. The agreement was finalized during the BE POSITIVE exhibition in Lyon to expand PV module distribution across France. According to BayWa r.e. France, Tongwei was selected for its product quality, technological innovation, and compliance with EU carbon footprint standards. The collaboration will focus on the distribution of Tongwei’s TNC 2.0 modules, which feature 908 Technology (0BB), screen printing, EPT edge passivation, and Poly Tech. These technologies have enhanced the modules’ crack resistance and electrical performance. Tongwei stated the partnership is aimed at advancing shared technological goals. Recently, Tongwei Solar’s THC-G12 HJT module achieved 790.8 W output at 25.46% efficiency, setting a TÜV-certified record in China.
