Shell Energy Philippines (SEPH), a retail electricity supplier headquartered in Manila, is expanding its renewable portfolio in line with the Philippines’ energy transition targets. SEPH has prioritized solar assets integrated with BESS, while it is also exploring opportunities in developing onshore wind generation projects. SEPH has signed a power supply agreement with PetroSolar Corporation for 20 MW from the Tarlac-2 solar facility. SEPH has also partnered with Daiichi Properties and is delivering renewable electricity to several office buildings across the Philippines. SEPH is a direct participant in the Philippine Wholesale Electricity Spot Market and has supplied power to over 100 clients. These clients are spread across real estate, manufacturing, education, and retail industries, reflecting SEPH’s broad C&I coverage. SEPH has further signed an agreement with a local data center operator to meet rising demand, while ASEAN has projected the Philippine data center market could reach $1.97 billion within five years.
