RenewSys, a Hyderabad-based manufacturer of solar PV components, has unveiled India’s first thermally anchored laminated Green Backsheet for bifacial and compact modules. The product is designed to support 1000VDC and 1500VDC systems and has a projected service life of up to 15 years. According to RenewSys, the Green Backsheet addresses operational challenges in rooftop, agricultural, institutional, and PM-KUSUM scheme installations across India. It is manufactured using a low-emission process and is engineered to be recyclable, aligning with circular economy objectives. The backsheet has been added to RenewSys’s PV portfolio, which includes solar cells, modules, and encapsulants. RenewSys has also showcased the Green Backsheet at industry events and has recently unveiled Anti-Acid EVA and TOPCon panels at India Expo to promote sustainable, high-performance alternatives for Indian solar manufacturers.
