RenewSys, headquartered in India, has introduced CONSERV AA-14 FC, an acid-resistant EVA encapsulant designed for crystalline and thin-film PV modules. The design minimizes yellowing and metallic corrosion, ensuring reduced power degradation and consistent energy output. It features acid scavenger technology that neutralizes acetic acid formation, improving adhesion while maintaining over 90% efficiency. The encapsulant offers UV stability and over 91% optical transmittance for maximum light penetration. A UV-transparent variant, CONSERV AA UVT-14 FC, optimizes blue-light-sensitive PV cells to boost power generation. It provides adhesion strengths of over 70 N/cm to glass and 100 N/cm to backsheets, with less than 2% thermal shrinkage. The encapsulant is available in 140-150 mts rolls without masking paper and has a nine-month shelf life.
