LONGi, a China-based PV manufacturer, has formalized an MoU with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. The agreement has connected the Solar Energy Research Institute with LONGi’s PV expertise for regional needs. The arrangement was shaped around joint research tailored for Southeast Asia’s climatic conditions and structured knowledge exchanges. The collaboration has also introduced specialized coursework, international project participation, and academic partnerships. The partnership has also promoted internships, accelerator programs, and dialogue platforms. Prior to this announcement, LONGi had delivered BC systems to educational facilities under its clean-energy program with UNHCR in Brazil.
