LONGi, a China-based solar technology company, has introduced an initiative at COP30 to support refugees and indigenous groups in Brazil. The “Green Energy Empowering Vulnerable Communities in Brazil” program, developed with the UNHCR, is using donated BC modules to assist essential facilities across Pará and Roraima. LONGi has deployed 44 kW systems at the Federal University of Pará’s Internationalization Center and has co-funded a sustainability center focused on professional training. This initiative follows the model previously tested in Roraima and underscores commitments to long-term community integration.
