ibvogt, a global development platform, has completed the sale of its 110 MW Pato solar project in Segovia, Spain, to NextPower V ESG, managed by NextEnergy Capital. The project generates around 215 GWh of electricity annually, supplying over 55,000 households and avoiding approximately 47,450 tons of CO₂ emissions. It has a secured long-term Power Purchase Agreement with an industrial technology company. The solar farm uses bifacial panels with tracking mounts for better efficiency. Hybridisation with co-located battery storage is planned. The project includes ponds, owl nesting boxes, and native vegetation to support wildlife. Pato forms part of ibvogt’s larger 513.1 MW cluster in Segovia. ibvogt will continue providing O&M and asset management services. Legal and financial advisors supported both parties.Prior to this transaction, ibvogt completed the 513 MW Segovia Cluster, securing PPAs to support Spain’s renewable targets.
