Huawei, a Chinese multinational technology company, have developed a service system in North Africa for stable PV and storage operations. The system offers global services, lifecycle support, and a certified partner network. Standardized safety models and digital tools enable predictive maintenance and efficient management. Huawei also applied its 4T technologies to improve system reliability. Africa’s energy sector is rapidly shifting to renewables to meet growing electricity needs. Electricity demand is expected to grow over eightfold by 2034, with PV capacity reaching 144 GW. Despite vast resources, the region faces unstable power, high tariffs, and complex operational challenges. The Africa Energy Summit 2025 launched “Mission 300” to expand electricity access for 300 million people by 2030. Huawei’s latest 700 MW agreement with Peak Energy at SNEC 2025 aligns with its ongoing efforts to expand PV and storage services in North Africa.
