Gentari, an Australia-based clean energy company and subsidiary of Malaysia’s Petronas, has recently commenced construction of the Maryvale Project. The 243 MW Maryvale PV plus Storage deployment is located at New South Wales’ Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone. This hybrid portfolio will combine 243 MW of PV capacity with a 172 MW/409 MWh DC-coupled battery to provide flexible renewable generation and increased grid stability. The project also features a community benefit fund and training grants. The installation is slated to be operational by Q2 2027.
