DESRI, a New York-based renewable energy developer and operator, has inaugurated a new capability centre at RMZ Nexity, Hyderabad, on September 11, 2025. DESRI was already active in Hyderabad since 2014, where it has supported global operations in accounting, engineering, finance, legal, and performance analytics. The new facility is equipped with collaboration spaces, multiple conference rooms, breakout areas, cafeteria services, and a dedicated medical room for employees. According to CEO David Zwillinger, Hyderabad has provided skilled talent and strong infrastructure, which are critical for supporting DESRI’s international operations. As per India Head Sachin Patha, the centre was developed to reflect a people-first approach while ensuring innovation and operational excellence in daily functions. DESRI and its affiliates currently own and operate 79 solar, wind, and storage projects across the United States, representingnearly 11GW capacity. Earlier this year, DESRI had also started construction of the Santa Teresa solar plus storage project with EPE, strengthening its renewable portfolio expansion.
