Boviet Solar Technology Co. Ltd., based in San José, Calif., was ranked as a Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) Tier 1 PV module maker for Q3 2025. The company first received this recognition in 2017 and has kept the status since then. BNEF’s criteria required manufacturers to supply self-produced modules to at least six projects of 5 MW or more, each backed by six different banks through non-recourse financing within two years.
