Astronergy, a China-based manufacturer of PV modules, has signed a cooperation agreement with GES Siemsa at SNEC 2025, securing the first global project order for its ASTRO N8 modules. According to Astronergy, the modules will be delivered later this year for a utility-scale solar project in Spain. The ASTRO N8 series features n-type TOPCon 4.0 cell technology, 210 mm G12 wafers, and SMBB design to enhance output. Each module has a rated power exceeding 700 Wp and is designed to reduce BOS and LCOE through a low Voc configuration. Astronergy has stated that the product includes double-layer coated glass and light-redirecting film to increase energy yield. This order also marks ASTRO N8’s entry into the European market. In the same event, Astronergy also earned IEC 63556 certification and unveiled its TOPCon 5.0 cell technology.
