Astronergy, a China-based manufacturer of PV modules, has received IEC TR 63556 certification from the China Photovoltaic Test Center (CPVT). The certification validated the modules’ performance under high temperature, humidity, UV exposure, salt mist, and thermal cycling. CPVT conducted field tests in Yinchuan, where a full-string setup of 10 modules recorded 0.69% degradation in one year, confirming their durability in dry and harsh environments. Astronergy also introduced its upgraded ASTRO N series featuring TOPCon 5.0 cell technology at SNEC 2025 in Shanghai. According to Astronergy, the new modules offered improved power output, efficiency, temperature coefficients, and energy yield across varied climate conditions. These developments support the application of Astronergy’s products in utility-scale and distributed solar installations operating in deserts, coastal zones, high-altitude locations, and wetlands globally. The company has also begun ZBB-TOPCon PV module production in China to support large-scale deployment of this product line.
