Ascent Solar Technologies, a Colorado-based flexible CIGS thin-film PV modules manufacturer, has achieved 15.7% AM0 efficiency on its Titan module in Q2 2025. The module measures about 1 sq.ft, weighs just over 8 grams, and delivers 15.7 W, with a power density of 1960 W/kg before encapsulation. This milestone reflects ongoing process and engineering improvements since September 2023. According to the company, the Titan module is designed for aerospace, agrivoltaics, construction-integrated solar, and consumer electronic applications requiring lightweight and reliable performance. Ascent Solar operates a 5MW manufacturing facility in Thornton, Colorado. The company has also signed a Master Services Agreement to power NOVI’s AI satellite fleet with rollable PV arrays.
