US-based Array Technologies, a global provider of solar tracking technology, has supplied its STI H250™ tracker for the La Nava and Ebro I solar projects. These projects are in Tudela and Castejón, Navarre. Together, they have a total capacity of over 100MW. Grupo Enhol, based in Pamplona, developed the projects, which were executed by its subsidiary Inver. Array and Inver worked together on the project. Inver managed engineering, procurement, construction, and project control. The STI H250™ tracker was chosen for its ability to adapt to uneven terrain. It can be installed without cutting, welding, or drilling. At La Nava, the installation was done in phases. This helped protect kestrels, an endangered species that nest nearby. The phased approach reduced the impact on local wildlife.DuraTrack Hail XP has been recently launched by ARRAY Technologies.
