Bluebolt Outdoor LLC, a division of Blue Outdoor, has partnered with California State University – Dominguez Hills to install solar-powered benches on campus. Simply known as ‘The Bench,’ it provides a convenient resting spot equipped with device-charging capabilities. Operating independently off-grid, these benches utilize solar power stored in lithium batteries, facilitating device charging and campus lighting for up to five days. Additionally, they feature backlit advertising panels to engage partners. Bluebolt oversees the program, managing advertising sales to generate revenue while offering benches free of charge. Expansion plans include installations in Arkansas, California, Illinois, and Texas this summer.
