A global solar technology leader, LONGi plans to supply up to 2.5 GW of solar cells for renewable energy projects in Egypt in 2025, valued at $500 million. Collaborating with Scatec, Masdar, and AMEA Power, the company’s contracts include 1 GW for Scatec and 1.25 GW for Masdar’s 4 GW solar plant. LONGi is also exploring green hydrogen opportunities within smart city projects, including Ras El-Hekma, as part of its efforts to expand its presence in Egypt’s renewable energy market.
