LONGi solar panels power Thai wood factory

Global PV company LONGi, in partnership with Smart Solar Corporation, has implemented Hi-MO X6 solar panels at J.U.N. EXPRESS, a key rubberwood and furniture producer in Thailand. The factory, reliant on energy-intensive automated processes, faced high electricity costs, which have now been offset through solar power generation of 620,193 kWh. This has resulted in monthly savings of THB 619,240 ($17,200) and THB 2,914,909 ($81,000) over four months. Projected annual savings are $206,400, while monthly CO2 emissions have been reduced by 63 tons.
