Keppel MET Renewables (KMR), a joint venture between Switzerland-based MET Group and Singapore-based Keppel Ltd., has acquired a 100% stake in two photovoltaic projects in Italy’s Piedmont and Lombardy regions. Developed by Italy-based ReFeel New Energy, these projects have a combined installed capacity of 20 MWp and are expected to generate 30 GWh of electricity annually, enough to power over 10,000 households. The ready-to-build solar plants are slated to begin commercial operations in 2025. KMR, based in Baar, Switzerland, is a notable player in the Italian renewable energy sector, with a portfolio of 277 MWp in solar projects. The company focuses on high-performance utility-scale solar PV and onshore wind assets across Europe.
