China-based JinkoSolar’s manufacturing plant in Florida has received tax credits under the US Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). Local US mediatermed it as a rare instance of a Chinese photovoltaic (PV) company benefiting from US incentives. The plant currently has an annual production capacity of 400MW, with plans to expand by an additional 1 GW. This development takes place even as the Chinese PV industry faces many hurdles in the US.
