JinkoSolar supplies modules for major solar park expansion in Germany

JinkoSolar, a prominent solar module manufacturer, has recently supplied its Tiger Neo modules to the Witznitz Solar Park in Lobstädt, Germany, augmenting the park’s total module capacity to 650 MW. This delivery, comprising over 1.1 million modules, represents a notable advancement in Germany’s renewable energy infrastructure. The investment from SIGNAL IDUNA and Shell Energy Europe’s Power Purchase Agreement further underlines the project’s sustainability and commercial viability. Constructed by MOVE ON Energy, the park is poised to generate 0.6 TWh of electricity annually. Significantly, it ranks as Germany’s largest PV Project and one of Europe’s largest solar ventures to date.
